Our final Science lesson on Space focused on the phases of the moon. We looked at the Moons orbit around earth and researched the different phases and what these mean.  The children then had an INCREDIBLE time creating the moon phases using... OREOS! It was great seeing children working together, delicately picking apart the biscuits and cream in order to accurately show the eight phases of the moon.

Surprisingly, Year 5 were very happy to contribute to the tidying up of this lesson and disposing of the leftover Oreos!
